General Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi Raja Mohamed Noor (Retired) is the Chairman of PETRA Diversified Systems and Technologies (DISTECH).

General Tan Sri Raja, was directly involved in the Second Malaysian Emergency during his early days as an army officer helming the role of platoon commander fighting against communists insurgents. He was appointed the Lead Instructor at the Army Basic Training Centre and the assistant Chief Of Staff at the Army Planning and Development unit, as well as the Commander of the 2nd Division.

He rose in ranks to become the Chief of the Malaysian Army from 2013 until 2016 and prior to joining the PETRA Group, he was the 19th Chief of Malaysia’s Defence Forces until his retirement in 2018. With PDST, he is overseeing the development of systems and solutions for defense, homeland security and civil applications.

General Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi hails from Terengganu,Malaysia and he has a Masters in Defence Studies from the University of New South Wales and Masters of Science in Defence and Strategic Studies from Quaid-i-Azam University, Pakistan.
