Dato Dr. Nasir Latif is the Deputy Chairman and President of the PETRA Group. He has been a corporate leader for over 10 years, driving economic and social development, focusing on the Southeast Asia region, spearheading various strategic initiatives in numerous critical, impactful sectors, including food security, aviation, renewable energies, and manpower.

He has been a corporate leader for over 10 years, driving economic and social development, focusing on the Southeast Asia region, spearheading various strategic initiatives in numerous critical, impactful sectors, including food security, aviation, renewable energies, and manpower.
His most profound impact lies in food security as Chairman of FarmFresh Industries, where he executed a landmark exclusive joint venture with Induk KUD (the world’s largest agricultural cooperative) and secured 1.2 million hectares of land for food security development in Brunei and Indonesia.
Additionally, as CEO of AeroAsia Aerospace, he is pioneering aviation development by leading a transformational initiative to establish Brunei’s first aircraft final assembly facility, international maintenance repair and operations (MRO), and an EASA-certified International Pilot Flight Training Academy, positioning the nation as a regional aerospace epicenter, while also developing the AirSeaga airline for the Brunei Darussalam–Indonesia–Malaysia–Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP EAGA) region.
Dato Dr Nasir has a Professional Doctorate in Global Leadership and Management and a Master of Engineering in Aeronautical Engineering. He is a family man with 2 children and enjoys reading during his spare time.
