About the Foundation
Established in 2002, TARA Foundation is a Malaysian non-profit dedicated to improving access to education for underprivileged children and families. Through a growing network of free tuition centres and mentorship programmes, it empowers young Malaysians from B40 communities to learn, grow, and build a better future.

By the Numbers
TARA Foundation has made measurable impact through a strong grassroots model. It currently operates more than twenty-eight centres across Malaysia, supporting over three thousand students each year. Its “Zero Dropouts” initiative ensures that children continue schooling with the academic support and personal guidance they need. By focusing on education as the key to empowerment, TARA Foundation continues to lift families out of the cycle of poverty and inspire long-term change within local communities.
